Utilizing innovative tooling designs and process development, complimented by its unique patented PressRoll® technology, A.O. Sherman consistently provides superior engineering support for the development and production of precision airfoils and assemblies.
Our engineers, programmers and tool designers use solid modeling software. The latest CMM and laser measuring technology allows hardware to be scanned and downloaded to engineering for full evaluation, dramatically cutting lead times.
Tooling is designed and fabricated in-house.
Production equipment includes roll, forming and punch presses, wire EDM and multi axis CNC machining centers.
Our manufacturing capabilities include:
- Toggle PressRoll® Machines that dramatically reduce manufacturing cycle times of hard-to-work material resulting in cost savings and shortened lead-times
- Automated Continuous Flow annealing process that provides greater metallurgical control and ensures schedule adherence
- High Pressure Rolling technology that supports the manufacture of vanes with a true elliptical leading edge
